Wireframes: Their Role in the Mobile Apps Development Process

Wireframes might sound like an unfamiliar term to some people, but in the mobile apps development process, it is a crucial step. This step involves the consolidation of the ideas in the initial stages about how the app will look like. The wireframe is created by sketching the initial designs that come to mind, and are a representation of the skeletal structure of the app.

Much like an architectural drawing for a building, the wireframe lays out the structure as well as relationship that the various elements of a mobile application will have between each other.  The representation is just like a wireframe.

Wireframes are an easy way to make the client or the user visualize and navigate through its different sections of the app.  The user can therefore come to know about the full experience that the app will provide without getting distracted by various graphics and other design elements.  With wire-framing, it also becomes possible to understand the app better and obtain better ideas and concepts. Therefore, one gets an app that is fully functional and user-friendly.
